Social responsibility
The Tamar Lifeline Charity has been established to provide a formal foundation for the annual charity work, fundraising and scholarships that Tamar supports.
Each year Tamar selects a unique project to undertake after reviewing a group of potential recipients. It is important to us that we are able to work with groups and projects where we can form a long-term relationship.
Community
Tamar's philosophy is to actively support the communities in
which we live and work by investing our time to develop projects
and build relationships.
In 2009 we were keen to develop a relationship with a school in
London, to join our ongoing projects in Cape Town and Shanghai, and
keeping the project focus on children who face certain
challenges.

Environment
At Tamar we are also environmentally aware, ensuring that not
only do we act responsibly but that our whole organisation is
environmentally sustainable. We are committed to reducing the
amount of resources we use, recycling wherever possible and being
energy aware.
