Tamar shortlisted for the HR Excellence Awards 2008

Apr 08On Wednesday 30th April we held the exclusive launch of the Tamar 2008 Search Attitudes Report at The Hospital. It was a very successful event in which Neil Jackson and Henry Elliss presented the key results from our research and we had a panel discussion on the results. On the panel was Megan Powell from Evans, James Davey from B&Q, Tim Larden from Endsleigh and Andrea Brown from Tamar - they all contributed great insights in to the research.
Tamar climbs to number 18 in the Top Search Agencies NMA Marketing Services Guide

The NMA Marketing Services Guide 2008 has been released and Tamar’s position has improved from 24 last year to 18 this year. The ranking is determined by revenue growth and new client wins.

Tamar present at Search Engine Strategies Xiamen on 18 April

Tamar China’s Head of Operations, Aidan Moore presented at the Search Engine Strategies Xiamen, China on the relationship between Social Media and Search in China.
Tamar also exhibited at the conference which was attended by companies with a presence in China and those considering expansion in to China. To find out more about the event read Aidan’s blog.
TLC Party raises over £3000 for our charity
Apr 08The TLC party on Tuesday 15th April at the trendy Studio Valbonne was a huge success. Over 150 people attended and fun was had by all. The auction alone raised £2600, this combined with the raffle and handicraft stall made over £3000. We’re now well on our way to hitting our target of £12,000 for this year’s project at the Yue Miao Insitution for the handicapped in Shanghai.
Help I’m Flooded website wins award
Apr 08The www.helpimflooded website which was designed and built by Tamar won an award at the Lloyds TSB Group Marketing Awards.

Mar 08Tamar has been shortlisted for the National Car Rental entry for the Best Car Hire Website category. Tamar and National Car Rental will attend the awards ceremony on 24th April where the winners will be announced.
Tamar's CEO shortlisted for Blackberry Women & Technology Awards 2008
Mar 08On Wednesday 12th March Tanya Goodin attended the Judging Day for the Blackberry Women & Technology Awards 2008 in the 'Best Use of Technology Within the Multimedia Industry by a Woman' category. Tanya will attend the awards ceremony on Tuesday 6th May 2008.
Tamar kickstarts 2008 Insight programme
Feb 08On Tuesday 5th February, Tamar held their 1st Insight event of the year on the future of SEO. Neil Jackson presented on 'The new search landscape'. This was followed by a thought provoking presentation from James Davey, Online Marketing Manager, B&Q entitled 'SEO - Top of mind. Top of wallet?'
